Car Insurance confusion can lead many British drivers down wrong financial road, when the car insurance customer head abroad this year.
This is a warning from moneysupermarket.com, which says that many drivers who are planning to take a driving while holiday are unaware of what their car insurance covers the policy provides.
Almost half (49 percent) of respondents in a survey by the company stated that they do not know how much they will get every protection when they go abroad, while 30 percent believe that a fully comprehensive policy will only apply overseas as in the UK.
Steve Sweeney, head of insurance at moneysupermarket.com, advised that drivers should check the small print of their cover before driving abroad.
